It'd be cool to see a chocobo cameo but that's as far as I'd like the idea of Enix being in Smash to go.

well i would wanna see a square-enix character on super smash.
although sephirot, cloud, zidane, squall and tidus are very memorable characters, they can't be in smash or obvius reasons.
i think cecil, or terra would be welcome in super smash. i mean if snake could enter why not a final fantasy character?

Probably because of relationships between the developers.

Sakurai and Kojima have been in contact since Super Smash Bros. on N64. Kojima actually asked Sakurai to put Snake into Melee, but he said he couldn't fit him in as the game was too far into development.

Needless to say, they've had a close relationship. Kojima's already played the game and is even designing the Snake stage for the game.

What would be fun would be the DDR characters as unlockables. Hey who knows? Konami is co-making the game so maybe we'll see Emi drop-kicking Rage. lol

Hideo Kojima is working with Nintendo.....not Konami (iirc)

Not only that, but I dont think it'll be that fun. Most DDR players even hate the dancers.

I'm not seeing to much love for Enix here. You guys make somed points. All I really have in my defense is chain of memories for GBA, which isn't much. But enix has been doing a lot of work with nintendo lately. An Enix character might appear, it just might not be any of my favorites... Oh well. At least I'll be able to play as Ike.

really almost all the lineup of square-enix is for the DS, i would not be suprised to see vaan in smash (or a clavat)

That's not how it works in debates. If you don't have anything nice to say, say it anyway because everyone's opinion matters. If every post in this thread was "i agree ur smart =D" then it'd be a pretty lame thread and I'd lock it.
