Well that's probably the problem right there! SMO doesn't support themes so if they work fine, if they don't you're SOL!

Are you trying to run SM in a higher res/refresh rate than your desktop? Don't know if that can be an issue with SM, but the only other thing I can think of offhand is to update your vid card drivers...
