Yes!

You're allowed to submit scores at any time, even ones lower than your previous scores. This is to encourage a bit of strategizing in terms of submitting scores. However, because of this, I'll have to strictly enforce deadlines.

no problem.
example:
there are 8 people scores:
1 - 4500
2 - 5500
3 - 6000
4 - 6000
5 - 7000
6 - 7000
7 - 8000
8 - 9000

total score is 53000, average is 6625.

since there's 8 people, 4 will be eliminated for the round
so then i'll take the 4 people whose score is furthest away from 6625 and they will be eliminated. In this case, it's
1, 2, 7, and 8.

So essentially, stay in the box as best as you can if there's a box and whiskers plot plotting all the scores. It's not going off of the median score, but the average. So it might be the case that the majority of players get a low score, so more of the higher scorers will be eliminated, not a perfect chop from both ends
