jello ladies and gentlemen classic sh*ite right here, presenting FFR's first ever (I think)...
For those that don't know already, solo is a different playstyle for stepmania. It uses 6 buttons, instead of the standard 4. Why am I hosting a tournament for solo? Because solo is fucen awesome, that's why.
BASIC INFO
This tournament will cater to all skill levels. If you just started playing solo and you're terrible at it, then we have a division for you! And if you're AAA'd Danse Macabre Oni, there's a division for you too! Although if you're AAAing Danse Macabre Oni.... I'll just throw my credits at you once the tournament starts xd. Don't feel like a nub if you're just starting to play solo, you will grouped with players at your skill level.
SIGNUPS AND PLACEMENT
Signups will last until Friday the 24th, 2012. Once signups have all been counted, there will be a placement round. You play the songs I will provide, and your scores will determine what division you go to. Once the placement round is over, we start!
TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
The tournament will be an elimination tournament, like the FFR Official Tournaments are. Scoring will be DP (or score based, if I can't find a good DP calculator). 4 divisions, each with their own elimination lines and prizes.
DIVISION STRUCTURE
Division 1 will be for the newbies, the people who have never played solo before, or who have played once or twice.
Division 2 will be for the people who have played it a bit, but are still getting the hang of it.
Division 3 will be for people who have been playing for a while, but aren't the best in terms of MA or speed. Decent players
Division 4 will be for solords.
WHAT PACKS WILL WE BE PLAYING
Divisions 1 and 2 will be playing songs selected from Xiao Beginner Packs 1-3 and Patashu's Beginner Pack, Divisions 3 and 4 will be playing from the compiled packs (like 96 solo files), Solo Rulz, Solord State Squad, and possibly BCMP(s).

Nope. I'll be playing in the tournament but I won't be winning any prizes (since I'm going to lose anyway xd)
