    Idea for a new list of tier songs

    As I said before, I think that we should make an organized list of songs for the tier point system. We have songs that emphasize every aspect of skill. This way, by looking at someone's tier point list, you can see what skills they're probably good at.

    Not all tier points with this list will be of equal difficulty to get!

    Please post your suggestions! I will incorporate good ideas into this list

    I divided FFR into the following 9 skills:
    Jackhammers, Stream, (Jump,Hand)stream, (Jumps,Hands,Quads), Rhythmic Chaos, (Background,Bluenote), (Rolls,Burst), Antiskill, Endurance

    Pass = 70% score
    mash FC = 90%
    FC = 95%

      No. Too many songs take aspects of all skills. Pointless.

      The way Tier points are now are fine. No point in dramatically changing it. The reqs are just too tight right now. It's getting worked on.

          I don't like how "Mash FCing" is worthy of one tier point since that will encourage people to mash just for that one point. Anyone can mash their way through a song.

              Tier points shouldn't be easy.

              Some of the new files should be TPd tho, but I think they're working on the system.. I think..

                  Lol I could remove mashing TP except for a few of the songs. 100 Bar blackout is a pretty good measure of minijacking ability

                  See, some tier points should be easy because as of now, you need to manually check levelranks for anyone from D1-D4 or D5.

                      100BB is definitely not a good measure of minijacking ability. The quickest one is a 2-framer and they're just minijacks in the middle of nowhere.

                          Thats why its only 1 TP out of a list of several different types of jacks. Prolonged ones like in Fei Longer, crazyfast ones in Grist, minijack in stream like in Nova Pulser

                              If we want a tier point list that both doesn't stress mashing, and allows classification of lower ranked players, we need to put some easy songs / TPs in there.

                                  The tier point list isn't meant to classify lower ranked players and there definitely won't be anything lower than an 8 in the list, even if the update that rebound is allegedly working on goes through.

                                  The point you're making has been argued in different threads and the general consensus is that the TP list is for more advanced players only. There should be a better way of organizing the songs that do count for TPs though..

                                              so why do you pick crowdpleaser?

                                              also, recent good players will easily get MAX/semi-MAX scores on that system.

                                                      Crowdpleaser tests one kind of skill, super super fast trilling. The only other one that does is Death Piano, and DP is way more complicated.

                                                      Even though nearMax is definetly possible, it would be tough to get the last few points for AAA's of FGOs. The difference is you need to have well rounded skills rather than ability to SDG/AAA any FGO.
