Hello everyone!
I am Ickalanda(Mick) and I am newer to the site, and FFR is the first rhythm game that I have ever dedicated any time too. Also, I have literally never played DDR.
I have noticed that most of you play or used to play DDR (makes sense, honestly). So I was wondering, do you think playing DDR has helped with FFR? What about vice versa, does playing FFR help your DDR skills improve?
I figured that a DDR veteran would have an easier time immediately with arrow recognition (I originally had a difficult time with faster "chord" arrows, although it is starting to click now).
I hope to try playing DDR at some point, and I feel like my FFR experience will help greatly with that.
Also, which do you think is more difficult? DDR or FFR? And one more thing, which of the two do you prefer?
Thanks, I hope to get some responses, will be interesting to see from someone who is just getting into the genre (even though rhythm games have been dropping in popularity lately).

Haha, DDR helped me a little, to be honest.
