    Dogs ate their owner who killed himself

    Two dogs are believed to have fed on their owner's body after he killed himself at home.

    Police in Omaha, Nebraska, said the man had been dead for two weeks of a self-inflicted gunshot before his body was found with the two pugs, Harry and Sally.

    They are now in the care of the Nebraska Humane Society, which said it would be normal behaviour for the animals if left without food or water for two weeks.

    They appeared to be "well-adjusted" and "in good shape".

          Well DUH, they are animals. Why does everyone forget that if you stopped feeding your animals that they'd still be around? Dogs eat other dogs when they die. Seriously, this is no surprise. To me anyways...

              Thats just life but yeah if I was hungry and out in the middle of nowhere and my dog had died. I would prolly eat it.

                          If I'd be without food for two weeks I'd eat myself...
                          The dogs had had to survivre somehow, besides, he was already dead... would have been worst if the dogs killed him.

                                                          Hmm... now I don't want to sound like a bad person but it might come off as such... but if he was going to kill himself why didn't he put his dogs in a pound or leave em with a friend? Sounds like murder to me...
