So, out of curiosity, I'm looking to see if there are others out there who find the beast lore and simple storyline of the Dragon Quest(Dragon Warrior) world. I mean, come on, who doesn't know what a slime is?

Aw, bummers. I never played it. Last one I indulged myself into was DQ: Monsters. It was a party.Comment

Whatever one was on the PS2 last (VII or VIII?)
I enjoyed that until it messed up my game. When you get hit by the snowball and then saved by a woman. Well that scene never worked, it would freeze up. When it didn't freeze it would instead stutter to a standstill throughout it. I never did get past that scene. Shame really as I was enjoying the game up to that part.Comment

lol after that the game really picks up. You also get a key that unlocks everything. Too bad for you.Whatever one was on the PS2 last (VII or VIII?)

Yeah, Dragon Quest 8 is a great game, one of the better rpgs out there.Originally posted by hi19hi19dumps abstractly represent the song with arrows

Re: I like Dragonquest. Do you like Dragonquest?
You sound confused. Adventure Quest has nothing at all to do with Dragon Quest.

Yes.
Dragon Fable is a pose off of Adventure Quest, which is a pose off of Runescape (who would want to pose off of that, lol) which is a pose off of a really good game.Comment

Re: I like Dragonquest. Do you like Dragonquest?
The only one I've ever played is DQVIII for the PS2. I bought it (FOR 45 DOLLARS!!1!1 OMFG!!1!1) because I heard on G4TV that it was "so addicting, that people in Japan skipped work to play it." What a joke, combat system was agonizing and not to mention boring, ended up giving it to one of my friends.

Re: I like Dragonquest. Do you like Dragonquest?
But it's true. Dragonquest is to Japan like the Superbowl is to America. There are Japanese holidays for the release of Dragonquest because bosses know that no work is going to get done that day. If the Superbowl were to happen on a weekday, how many people would actually go to work? Although Dragonquest is not as an amazing game to the entire Japanese population, it's still a big game there. I don't like watching the Superbowl because in my opinion, watching something like football is boring, but people always raise their eyebrows at me like I'm weird. But hey, that's the general attitude when we Americans look at a game like Dragonquest.

Re: I like Dragonquest. Do you like Dragonquest?
I played one of them for the Gameboy, I got to the end with some like level 40 monsters or something but I could never beat the boss, so I traded it in for pokemans.
