    Green hold things on sm.

    How do you hit these things correctly?
    I always get a good or an n/a at the end of them...
    Is there a certain speed you have to tap them at?

    you hold them down and dont release untill you see the letters "OK"

      Just hit them regularly and wait till it finishes.
      Removed a .gif image so your total signature size isn't well over 1MB. Keep this in mind for the future.

        I'm talking about the green holds, those are the regular blue ones.
        Also, SM 4.0 if that helps.

            Well for me it's reversed (green are normal, blue are what you're talking about), but from the sound of it. they're rolls. This means you basically do a fast trill on the indicated notes, instead of holding them.

              If you have .ahk running it doesn't work. Make sure that's turned off and you map the keys IN GAME.

                    Rolls must be tapped once every 0.3 seconds. (equiv. of 200 bpm 4ths so just tap rolls to the speed of your favourite dragonforce song)

                      I use SM4.0
                      At the end of a hold/freeze (Blue), it will give you Marv/Perf/Great/etc, seemingly random (Regardless of what you got on the initial hit). It doesn't appear to contribute to your actual combo or score, but is just one of the bugs in 4.0 (It's beta, remember?)

                      To hit a hold/freeze (Blue), hit the initial arrow as if it were alone, but instead hold it for the duration of that blue beam.

                      To hit a roll (Green), hit the initial arrow, and then continue hitting repeatedly, until it's done. I don't know the rate, but the guy above said every 0.3 seconds, so yeah.
