I'm trying to save up for the Mute City Remix and it's about 25,000 credits. Just wondering which would be a good song to do to earn them quickly.

Troglodytic Epica and Bicycle Break are both an easy 40 credits per song, but they are fairly long. Songs with fast streams are really good providing you can combo them.
FC'ing songs will give you more credits since score is very dependent on combo. You can get 40 credits if you can FC a song with 1300 or more notes as long as you have decent PA.

Hellbeat v2 is a good one, it's not as hard as the other songs mentioned by omgitznpv, it starts earlier than any song in the game (I think) and it's on the top ten list for average taps per second. That song is about as effective as ehhs if you use autofail, and it's a lot easier. I suggest setting autofail to 1 miss and doing songs with lots of arrows per second. If you have vertex beta vrofl then comboing the quads at the beginning would be best.
Just because a song gives you 40 credits doesn't mean that you'll get credits faster playing that song, it has to do with the number of arrows you hit per second. I don't really recommend Troglodytic Epica to any really good player as that's a rather slow song, but if that's the hardest song you can decently combo then go for it.Comment

my advice: play the song Max Forever MANY times! its a long song and it'll get u like 40 credits each time u play it (if u play it right)

Like I said in my last post, slow and long songs (slow songs period) aren't the way to go if you can combo harder songs. Max Forever wouldn't really be a good choice because your credits get capped playing such a long song after 40 credits. Play songs with a high taps/second ratio and set autofail to 1 miss.Comment

Yeah, you do have a point there. I guess I was kind of thinking along the lines of "Which song would be good for getting UNknown Girl?"
Playing the fastest song that you can hold a decent combo (or FC) on would probably be a good choice. And Auto-fail at 1 miss will speed things up a bit.Originally posted by Phynx

If you're good, FCing {Rose} will get you 40 credits in about 2:30. Pretty quickly. MAX Forever is easy to get 40 credits on but its almost a 6 minute songComment
