A lot of it is prairie humour, so some of the jokes may be a little... dry... to Americans, especially those living in metropolises.

Don't judge all of Canada like this because there are really 7 different types of us.


Southern Ontario (me) (1) - Urbanized and most similar to Americans in style

Northern Ontario (2) - Drunk stupid hicks who can't build anything...live in deep forests with huge rocks everywhere. I have a cottage up there and apparently they also like burning things like abandoned old houses.

Quebec (3) - These bastards are separatists. Most of them can speak English too but still speak French just to piss people off

Maritime (4) - AKA Noofies. Like to get drunk and fish and have the standard Canadian accent. Nobody likes these guys either

Prairie (5) - Find oil and keep all the ****ing money to themselves. Becoming Urbanized...Hates all of Canada besides the prairie. Rather bland...

Western (6) - Mountains...everything else is standard and slightly urbanized in some areas.

Arctic (7) - These 6 people like to sniff gasoline, seal hunt, and commit suicide and in fact we don't even call these places provinces...we call them territories because we don't care about them but now they found oil so Sweden and Russia may cause a war over this. Yes, this combined with noofies are your stereotypical Canadains.

It's true though ...if you want something bad about us...In Toronto somebody gets shot like every 20 seconds...it's turning into Detroit and I don't actually live in Toronto...I live in an all white town 45 minutes away from it.

Nah, it's more fun to generalize (and easier to remember). Although I wasn't really generalizing about how Canadians are, rather how they think of us.

To be frank we think of you guys as stupid dumb hicks carrying guns everywhere you go and enjoy ****ing around with the world. We think you all have no idea about what goes on outside your own country or state unless it involves "terrorists". Yes...we hate you guys.

There is really no point in making a sudden conversion into the metric system. The Imperial system works just fine here, and the metric system works fine if we're dealing with science or math. You say it's easier, but to be frank with you, it really makes no difference at all in common conversation. It's just as easy to visualize ten feet as it is ten meters.

I'm not being totally serious. Most Americans aren't dumb asses but many lack in global geography however I know people here who aren't any better. However you guys REALLY should switch to Metric instead of making the rest of the world pissed when they have to do conversions for you guys lol.

Also metric is much better because it's base 10...the rest of the world does it and you guys should do it as well IMO. I can do any conversion hardly applying even basic math. Want Km into M? Add a few zero's. Also decimals are much easier than fraction except in certain cases but nothing the magical bar of notation can't fix.
