    J-Rock

Does anyone here besides me listen to J-Rock? I've been wondering. If so, who are your favorite artists?

The concept of liking music done by one particular nationality means you are a weeaboo and your musical opinion is worth nothing to anyone outside of japanophiles.

Except there's a huge difference between japanese and western rock.

That said, they're still enormous weeaboos.

                    Re: J-Rock

I concur that liming a music of one nationality (non-cultural) is pretty absurd, but the sound of a certain language may sound more appealing than others. I hate Spanish music because I think that the Spanish language sounds like crap. Excluding the language, it's fine, but all together, it's disgusting (to me, at least). Though, certain nationalities do have a distinct way of playing a certain genre of music. Excluding vocals, the sound of Japanese rock is different from American/English rock, but that is not all inclusive. Of course there will be similar songs and sounds, but their genres are different from ours, excluding the language. Still, to like the music of a specific nation could, in fact, make one a "weeaboo." I would love to meet the person that enjoys all types of music made in Japan, or any other nation/country/continent etc..

EDIT: Ninja'd by Tibs. He summed it all up...

Outside of language, which really doesn't matter, the differences in style are the exact same as the differences in style from band to band.

That said, I LIKE E-METAL THAT MEANS METAL FROM ENGLAND BECAUSE TEA IS HARDCORE AND NOBODY ELSE DRINKS AS MUCH TEA AS ENGLISH PEOPLE SO CLEARLY LISTENING TO ANY METAL BESIDES ENGLISH METAL MEANS THAT YOU ARE NOT A TRUE METALHEAD
