    3,000 or more credit Writing tournament

    The Contest:
    I will give all of my credits to whoever can impress me with any piece of original writing. This can be poetry of any form( free-style, limerick, haiku, etc) a song, a short story or an essay....Just make me want to read it again.....if there are ties, i will PM you with a tiebreaking assignment( tiebreaker will be easy, ie., " Write a humorous limerick" )Winner will get all my tokens at the end(around 3-4,000), which will be October 16th

    RULES:

    1)no plagiarism

    2)submit as many as you like, but please make it interesting

    3) enjoy it! writing should be an outlet, not a job or burden.....

    May the best author win!

          None of those was a true haiku. Simply taking a 17 syllable sentence and jamming linebreaks into it does not a haiku make.

          And besides, the greatest haiku in the world has already been written:

          Hippopotamus
          Anti-Hippopotamus
          Annihilation

                  This one isn't poetry. It's actually a tl;dr research paper on the economic/psychological motivation behind procrastination that I wrote at Northwestern. I don't know, if you're into not understanding what you're reading and falling asleep occasionally, this will undoubtedly win.

                      keep em coming.....ive read all so far, which isnt saying much.......

                      they all have some element i like, whether it be humor, rhetoric, imagery, whatever....and have one in my mind thats above and beyond the others......
