    So, what happened... [Anime]

    To adult anime? Not necessarily adult.. but things like Robotech, Vampire Hunter D... These are the titles that i look back on after watch the 200th episode of naruto and cry. i mean, remember the scene in robotech where the soldier is kneeling by the blonde little girl near the flower shop and they are suddenly ripped to pieces by an explosion? i've heard tales of Fist of the northstar (the original movie) but can't find it.. Also of a movie called 'Wizards' but i couldn't find that either lol. There HAS to be something i'm missing. Can anyone recommend some anime titles (subtitled is fine, series or movie) that has an FPS of more than 10. If the visuals are great, the dialog doesn't have to be.. But i'd like something with a little bit of both. Real animators somewhere have to be wowing their audiences. it can't all be Pokemon XVII.

    Any suggestions?

    Btw, please don't post 'Anime Sucks' because you're just proving your ignorance to everyone and i don't value your input. Don't waste my time or yours.. lol...

              It'd be nice if you could be more specific as to what you mean by adult anime. If you're looking for an anime aimed at a mature audience, then try Elfen Lied. It's also got the excellent graphics you were asking for: "The colorful and lavish backgrounds of the anime have been praised for their technical excellence." -Wikipedia
              You might also want to try Serial Experiments Lain, which doesn't have many adult themes but is still a great anime aimed at a mature audience.

                      Adult was probably the wrong word.. Mature would have been better, thanks :] i just mean that much of the anime that is so mainstream in america today takes after Pokemon and is aimed at young kids. Like i said, there's got to be some that's aimed at a mature audience. Thanks for suggestions.

                                              Thanks for the list. i checked out Elfen Lied.. Good, except for the stupidity they occasionally through in lol. Oh, and the horns. The gore was impressive... i was a little disapointed with the ending, but i suppose it was a little too much to hope for a perfect happy ending after all the bloodbaths. lmao.


                                              (Stupidity = Nyuu's occasional perverted antics. Maybe the japanese think this is funny.)

                                                  Alas, that list contains Mangas (which isn't anime), and Hentai (anime porn). I don't think these are what he is asking for .

                                                      lol. i noticed the manga, but didn't catch any hentai. Ah well... i like 3x3 eyes character style. the characters aren't.. there's no reason why eyes should take up half of their faces lol. i'm going to keep going through this list.

                                                          I just watched Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. All 26 episodes in one sitting. It didn't have quite the same polish as Elfen Lied, but I think I still would prefer Higurashi over Elfen Lied, just because Higurashi had much more of an emotional impact (on me at least). It's pretty similar to Elfen Lied (that is, it's gory) and I'd give it about a 9.2/10. If you liked Elfen Lied, check it out.
