    I'm mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take it anymore

    I've been playing FFR and Stepmania for a while, but only just now got a forum registration because it sounded like a good idea. I hope so.

    I require assistance. With enough practice, I can beat just about any song. However, there's been one thing biting me in the ass and that's when there's an insanely long passage of arrows at a very fast pace are placed one after the other, two by two, and the second of each of the two in the passage is the same as the last so it would be something like:

    <-
    ->
    ->
    ^
    |
    ^
    |
    etc. you get it. And no, I'm not talking about the gallop, I'm talking fixed patterns.

    Is there some sort of secret strategy behind passing this? I know there's got to be, because anything is possible. Someone help, I'm about to go berserk!

          It appears to be called two-framers. I still can't quite do it since there's like, a billion of them.

              Jacks? Two Frame Jacks?

              It's impossible to AAA those from what I remember. You have to start the first one early, and get a good in order to hit the rest perfect, I believe.

                  Yea you hit the first note early and it would automatically hit the next note also because the frames of each note overlap.

                              It's Fury of the Storm. I played the rest of it, it's a piece of cake. Just that one segment in the beginning full of two-frames is kicking me in the nuts.

                                  Technically speaking SM doesn't have framers of any kind (afaik... I don't play it), so you must just be referring to jacks in general.

                                              Wow this is a old thread.

                                              On SM, you just gotta keep doing it over and over and over untill you get good at it. On FFR AT THE TIME OF THE OP There was a glitch that messed up jacks that's being fixed.

                                                  yeah you can really just move your hands faster and like vibrate them and not hit as hard, I think.
