This Playstation "DDR" stuff you people seem to pl

Ok I don't know very much about Playstation DDR stuff and I hear you guys talking about it all the time like we all know what you're talking about... Well I guess that's true except for me... Anyway I think I want to get one of these things but I need help... like what is a game of DDR for PS2 called and one of my friends said he would have already gotten it but he wants a metal dance pad and he can't find a metal dance pad anywhere... So where can I get a metal dance pad and a good DDR game for PS2?

Yes Red Octane is the way to go...if you're willing to pay $250-$300 for a metal dance pad. That's no problem if you're rich though (not me). I just bought a cheap soft pad for $20 .

EDIT: Well I was too late .

Ignitions are good foam pads. And either Max, or Max2 will do. Personally I like Max more.

If you havn't played either, go with Max, and once you get better get Konamix. It's actually a PS1 DDR, but it has lots of songs and some fun and difficult stepfiles. Also, go with the metal pads. Yeah, they're more expensive, but the foam ones won't last more than 2 months tops if you play seriously. In the long run, you'll probably spend more continually replacing them.

Though if you're still new (not sure if Freak83 is or not) you could go with the soft pad because playing on beginner won't tear the pad up at all. (I play on standard by the way )

Yeah but if you're still new to DDR you should start out at home so you don't make a fool of yourself at the arcade.

I've never played a game of DDR in my life. I assume that makes me new? :P
