    Saw 300, wasn't impressed.

    Sure, it was entertaining. But it really seemed like it was just one big cgi-enhanced battle scene. The dialogue was pretty lame, the narration seemed forced, the soundtrack was laughable at points, and the gratuity of the blood spatter affect was stupid. It felt like I was watching a cut-scene from Age of Empires or something.

    Those of you that really liked it, prove me wrong, tell me what was so awesome about it.

          There were flaws if you look at it, but there's flaws in all movies, that's unavoidable. If you've watched other movies like this then you'd know that the battle scenes are extremely staged and rediculous. These battle scenes are very well done, historically accurate and the swordsmanship was all perfect. Overall the battle scenes were brilliant. The story was interesting, maybe a little over-dramatic at times, but still very interesting. For some it's just not their cup of tea. It's more appealing to those that are a bit more on the geek side, kind of like Pan's Labyrinth. Brilliant movie, but if it's not for you then you won't like it.

                      oh, i'm not saying the battle scenes weren't well done. they were among the most well choreographed battle scenes I've ever scene, but a movie needs more than that. and everything that was outside the realm of battle was predictable, poorly acted, and lame, not even mentioning the unbelievable amount of over-dramatized dialogue. and i love geek movies. i saw snakes on a plane twice in the theaters, which i never do. this was the first movie i've seen in the theater since... the departed?

                          battle scenes were very good indeed...but the movie could have been better but also with every movie...dissappointing

                                              Honestly, when I watch certain movies I say to myself that they should make a whole movie based on just one part. I think this is the movie for this who just like battlle scenes. I certainly liked it because I love watching movies like this.

                                                          I thought 300 was a great movie. I loved how they strayed away from some aspects of the truth in order to make it more "movie" enjoyable. If you didnt like the movie 300. i suggest you watch "The Real 300 Battle" that aired on the History Channel. That tells the complete truth of the 480 BC battle
