    Why is DDR Ex.2 so easy

    Does anyone else find DDR Extreame 2 home version much easyer than SuperNova?

    I can FC Sakura REvenge Heavy yet I can't pass do Xypher(Challange), No.13 (Heavy).

    Does this have somthing to do with the new difficulty system?

      SuperNova at arcade has a tighter timing window and a harsher life bar. Not sure about the home version, but I imagine it would be the same.

          i thought the how fast the life bar went down was dependent on what song you picked and the difficulty it was on

              I find it easier

              Xepher Oni and No.13 Heavy are harder than Sakura Heavy and also Sakura has been out longer so you've probably had more experience with it than the other two songs. Xepher shouldn't be not passable though ... its really not that difficult.

              I'm sure it doens't have to do with the new difficulty system, just you.

              1. We're not discussing "the life bar"

              2. Not necesarily, the song you pick and the difficulty its on only changes the way you play not how the machine judges. I could be wrong though I never double checked on this but I'm pretty sure that's the case.

                          The life bar. On the first song its not as harsh. It won't go down as fast as if it was the last song.

                              PRogressive life bar thing something like that.
                              SuperNova has a more exacter? timing thing.
                              So it makes it that much better/harder.
                              so yea expect your perf to be greats if you play for fun.

                                  GJ confusing everyone Will.

                                  Yes, the life bar does decrease faster depending on which stage you are on. (Stage 3 is a lot harsher than stage 1.)

                                  But SuperNova is also harsher all around, so playing 1st stage on SuperNova will have a less forgiving life bar than playing 1st stage on Extreme, for example.

                                  Song and difficulty have nothing to do with it.

                                      Same with when Extreme 2 came out. Everyone was like "OMG this is SO much harder than Extreme 1!". But they eventually got over themselves and played anyways.

                                              Its harder because it is? Tibs already put it into a full explanation though.

                                                  This may just be my nubness but did Sakura REvenge on my 1st try but I've tryed Xypher and No. 13 like 20 times before that...I can do No. 13 due to me getting metal pads instead of intec which were creased to ****. But I can't do Xypher ONI for ****...though i can do it on Expert
