          I think the point is that the ads have gotten ridiculous as of late.

          The other day, I got a flashing "YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN TO WIN A PRIZE" ad. Has Synth's standards been lowered for which ads he allows or what?

                                  There aren't any less retarded ads he could use? I mean, I'm all for the expansion of the site and the advancement of advertising, but I'd think better ads could be gotten.

                                  I'm thinking: things that are actually advertisements for products or services and not things that would appear to be a poll or a contest to someone who doesn't know things about computers.

                                                      I always look down at sites with ads like that-- the kind that trick computer illiterate people into clicking them. They usually have you sign up to win something, but then they'll just spam you with junk mail or even give you spyware.

                                                      Basically, these kind of ads will make people think less of the site.
