Captain Jack Heavy steps are done. I'm considering making my own steps for DDR's Crash and ITG's Driving Force Classical now.

Captain Jack Oni is a decent beginner index file, but the song is TOO long and boring.

The Kirby files were alright but...

1. Halved BPMs aren't necessary
2. I think it was Frozen Fantasy that was odd because it was all triplets when you could've easily altered the BPM and make it all 16ths and 8ths. I forget exactly which file did that...
3. Some of them seemed like you could've done more with it. I'm not saying make it OMG TECHNICAL, but try making them a bit more interesting.

Remember December had some unnecessary 16ths (not the streams), and it seems a bit inconsistent in the triplet section.

Also, you might wanna check your BPMs. They seem to drift, but it could just be me.

I'm aware the BPMs are often a half/third of what they should be, but it's too late to change that now.

Where were the unneccesary 16ths in Remember December?

1. No it's not, it's easy to fix and you can just rerelease.

2. Check over the file on Heavy and listen carefully somewhere in the beginning before the vocals come in. Some of those 16ths didn't seem to go to anything. I COULD be wrong.

There's obviously a trick I'm not aware of which can double/triple the BPM while halving/thirding every note interval...

I'll check Remember December Heavy when my little brother's off the SM computer, though.

Press Enter on the editor and you'll see an expand/compress BPM option there. It will do a BPM change on the selected measures by a multiplier and returning to the original BPM at the very end of the selection.

It's a little trickier on files with BPM changes since you have to change each section with different BPM seperately. It's not impossible, though.

Okay, no, the 16ths at the start of Remember December definitely fit. Listen closer, it's doing a note-note-rest-note-note-rest thing like what goes on for most of Summer in Belize.

However, lookin through the rest of the simfile I made plenty of mistakes, wow. Thanks for making me look through it again, I'll get this fixed up and re-uploaded. (And I'll make the edit more painful, while I'm at it. <.< >.> <.<)

EDIT: Uh-oh. Stepmania crashed violently when I selected Expand 2x so I think that's out. But the Remember December steps have been remastered sucessfully and they'll go up on bemanistyle.com in a jiffy.

EDIT: New Remember December steps are up, CRASH! steps are up. Check it, yo.

By the way, anyone know how to convert specialized vg-music formats (*.nsf, *.spc, etc) into mp3s, or alternatively a good site with lots of vg music in mp3 format?
