    It's really scary once you think about it. I'm one of those people that think the world is going to end soon. I thought that it would either end from nuclear war, global warming, or [something else, i forget right now because i haven't talked about it in a while].

    But watch the trailer. Read the page. I took the pledge (there's a link to it down near the bottom). Once the movie comes out, i'm going to be there.

          Hey, some of this stuff I can do. Recycle, turn the air conditioner up, wash laundry in cold, but there needs to be more stuff I can do...

                  Oh Jesus Christ Jurs, you are the dumbest bitch I have ever seen.

                  You actually believe this global warming tripe? Grow the hell up. Did you know that the data for which we have been tracking the temperature are so insignificantly small that we are nowhere close to statistically significant data to show that global warming is occurring? That's right, all this increased temperature we're seeing is this amazing statistical thing called variance.

                  You have bought in to the media hype and you are now crapping your pants about something that the media corporations have spoonfed you. If you want to see something hilarious, start going through newspapers in the 1970s; the front pages of them will all be screaming about how the world is cooling off and the next ice age is coming.

                  Michael Crichton actually planned to write a book about global warming. The funny thing, though, was that as he was researching the topic he started to realize that it was a bunch of bogus crap... So the book was instead about how global warming isn't real. It's called State of Fear, maybe you should go read it.

                                  Good. In 100 years I won't be here to give a rats ass one way or the other...

                                  but ap always has to beat me to the voice of reason.

                                  PS - When I hear the words "brick" and "toilet", all I can think of is a giant turd. brick, log, gopher, Cosby's... any of it + toilet, crapper, john, ****ter = big giant donkey sized deuce. So, calling it a "brick in the toilet" is EXTREMELY funny... at least to me.

                                          Tass and Aperson win. It's not that I don't think it's necessarily true, it's just that I watched this trailer and it (a) failed to convince me that we're in danger or scare me in any way and (b) failed to show me a solution that needed everyone's effort.
