    Fate/Stay Night

    This show is based on the insanely popular erogame of the same name released in 2004, and has had a suitably insane amount of hype leading up to its release. And while episode one didn't live up to the hype, episodes 2-4 have completely captivated me.

    The characters are awesome (every single one of them), the character designs are the best I have seen in a long, long time, and the art is very good (the animation is above average, but nothing amazing). The story is another of the battle royales ala Mai HiME that have been so popular lately, but the game taking place is far better laid out and established than in other series using the story type. Furthermore, the people playing this game want to fight, and have strong motivations to win. Finally, from what I understand from the game, people will die in this show and not come back.

    Episode four just aired a couple of days ago, and I already can't bear the wait for episode five.

    Oh, and if you do happen to know details on the game's plot (although I doubt anyone here does), DO NOT discuss it in this thread. This thread is for discussing the anime ONLY.

          Mahou has been really notorious for being a slow sub group (it took them six months after Tsukiyomi ended to finish subbing it, and a similar timespan for Sousei no Aquarian), while Eclipse is relatively new and has always been very fast (I believe their first series was Shana).

          Both groups get their subs out within 24 hours of the release of the raw, and as you said, both are quality groups. So it doesn't really matter who you go with at this point.

                      Dammit people, more of you need to watch this show. It is a bit slow paced, but really, REALLY good.

                      Episode 5 was awesome, and manages to leave off at a spot that has my just dying to devour the next episode. Rider looks quite cool, and I can't wait to see the background for the Sakura x Rider pairing that is so common among the fandom.

                      ps Sakura is quite possibly the most attractive anime female ever.

                                              Episode 6 rocked. Even though it had a complete lack of Sakura, and Saber only had a couple of lines, it still rocked.

                                              Why?

                                              Because every single character in this show rocks. Everyone is complex and interesting, both servants and masters. I even find myself liking Shirou, and it is rare that I feel anything at all for the typical male lead surrounded by girls. I don't mind at all if he and Rin end up carrying an episode entirely, especially when it is done as well as this.

                                              Oh yeah, this show creates tension beautifully. I can't wait until the shit hits the fan.

                                                  I downloaded the torrent files for 1-6, but I can't play the .avi file. on wmp it doesn't show the video and winamp hates me.
