....to rap.
I have seen so many people on this site (and in general) diss rap as being stupid. People say that any idiot could do it, that the beats are too repetitive, that it's all about sex and drugs and violence, and that they could do better. Well you know what? I'm tired of hearing all you people talk about how you're so much better than rap when you haven't even done it.
So, I'm issuing everybody here that makes music and has a microphone an official eb challenge. I challenge you to make a rap song. More specifically, I want you to make the best rap song you possibly can. The song could be about anything (example topics: gangsta rap, parody of gangsta rap, a rap about why rap is stupid, rap about FFR, a rap glorifying Synthlight, or anything you want!!). Write the lyrics yourself or get somebody to help you if you need. If you don't have a mic, get a friend who does to help you (for example: me (if I know you)). If all else fails, you could use text-to-speech stuff and make a rap (it'd be good to do that if you want somebody else to do the rapping for you, that way they have a good idea of what rhythm to say the words to).
And don't even bother saying you're too white to rap or that this challenge is stupid. Look at the guy at www.songstowearpantsto.com . He can do pretty much everything musically. Yeah, tt takes talent to make good music, but it takes more talent to make good music in many different genres. Now's your chance to branch out.
