Guys. The emo-fad died out a long time ago. It was at it's peak in popularity shortly after the Pop-punk fad died out which was about 3-4 years ago. Eyeliner, black-hair (usually with hints of blonde) that hangs over the one eye, tight jeans, straight-edge, etc all fall under the Hardcore fad. Usually they are the ones who walk around with The Nightmare Before Christmas merch.
Then you have your hipsters/scenesters. They are the ones who are all about wearing tight-fitting vintage clothes and talking about how their taste in music is so superior. They take pride in listening to bands like Xiu Xiu and junk like that. They are pompous and are constantly complaining about how commercial music is these days and how no one will ever appreciate their taste in music because everyone is so brainwashed. Basically, they think they are Parisians minus the whole...living in Paris thing.

3 years too late? You hit the nail on the head with those descriptions (Even The Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise) and I though you were directly describing my sister and her friends for a second. So, ignoring all the talk about emo-ness...
Corpse Bride was cute. It was not nearly as good plot-wise as I expected from Tim Burton, but it was GORGEOUS. That's really all I have to say...except that the Corpse Bride was much more beautiful than the living one.Goddess of Chocolate Sauce

It sucked. Take everything that Whorli said... and start it off with "It sucked." and then again end it with "it sucked."

It was at best "alright." The story was fairly boring. The music...uninspired (except for the piano pieces, those were good).
The art was grand though.
I'd give it a 5 out of 10.Comment
