What's wrong with IDM? I think that it's a great style of music. It's just been extremely misrepresented in the world of mainstream Electronica. IDM can mean many different things, so I’m not sure what sound Omeganitros is going for.Comment

the VAST majority of idm is nowhere near hardcore and ranges from glitchy to highly melodic. experimental idm (go check ishkur) can be harsh but usually isn't too bad.Comment

Just because someone doesn’t like a style of music, doesn’t mean it's bad. It really depends on the artist whose making the music. I personally love IDM, and I think that there are tons of great artists in this genre. I personally hate Trance music, but I’m not going to say that it sucks just because I don't like it. If you don't like IDM, then what’s the point of putting down all the people that do like it? You’re just proving to everyone that you’re close-minded when it comes to music.Comment
