    XVIII postponed

    Only one person signed up for hosting, so they win by default.

    Signups are tomorrow at 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM Eastern. 9 slots each.

    I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

      Attention:

      There will be a new role in this game. It came as a suggestion a couple days ago and I didn't put it in the first setup.

      The role is called the "Ringbearer"

      The job is to pick a person and they will be the "Ring". At the end of each day, whoever is the Ring will have the final say on who is lynched (it can be anyone). You can assign someone who is a human or wolf to be the Ring(a wolf if you're unlucky). You can not pick the same person two times in a row, and you can not pick yourself. At night, the Ringbearer PM’s me with who they choose to be the Ring.

          Question:

          1. will we therefore know if/when the ringbearer dies... so we know there is no longer a ring.
          2. say I'm the ringbearer... can i pick blah night 1, chardish night 2, then blah night 3? or only once per person period.
          3. can you further explain what you mean by "has the final say"... does it matter at all what anyone else votes? like, say 10 people want TPS dead, but since he is my wolf cohort, I decide to kill ap instead... what is the point to voting. Also, is it announced who the ring is after they choose?

          You should think this through a little more... as #3 is definately a HUGE issue towards the structure of the game. 1 and 2 are also important though.

          PS - I call dibs on Sauron.

              1) If the Ringbearer dies, I will quietly pick a new one. They will be a human, and I will PM them notifying them about their new role.
              2) It can go that way. Blah, Chardish, Blah, etc.
              3) I put this at the end of the prologue, but "votes" this game are more like "suggestions". Yes, you have to make them. If the Ring is a human, they should take peoples' suggestions into consideration before choosing who they want to lynch. The Rings will be announced in the postgame. You will only see who was lynched because the Ring will PM me at the end of the day who they choose to lynch. This may delay the game a bit, but hopefully the Ring makes sure they are online at the time the Day ends.

              There are still phantoms. Two phantoms = 1 game ban. Talked to blah about it, he said it was ok.

                                              Sure, why not.
                                              So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

                                              In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

                                              So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
                                              And I write the blog for their website.

                                              Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O
