Best somewhat oldschool games of all time

I was digging around some old discs and found a demo disc. Threw it in and saw a game called "brave fencer musashi" Awesome game and went a little under the radar. Anyone else know of some great games that aren't very well known?

    Quick list.

    1.Jumping flash
    2.Motor Toon Grand Prix
    3.Brave Fencer Musashi

RE: Best somewhat oldschool games of all time

I've played the Musashi demo. It was decent, but I dunno if I would have ever bought. Probably not, since I didn't. XD And oldschool =/= PS1. Old school = SNES and before. So, for some schweet oldschool games:

    Crystalis
    Gradius
Gauntlet (but only if you have more than 1 person :P)
    Contra
Kirby (the gameboy one where you couldn't absorb powers = quite a challenge when I was a kid)
Super Famicon Wars (you've probably never played it because it's Japanese only, but it's friggin sweet)

    and of course....

    Parodius. XP
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Musashi is fairly well known. A sequel for the PS2 came out recently.

Which sucked. I was very very dissapointed. I was a big fan of Brave Fencer Musashi.

Donkey Kong Country was my first video game, and I have to say it's the most fun I've ever had in my life.

Like I have said many times before.

                Contra.

That is the greatest game of all time.
