    A (Dios Mix) UPDATED!

The name is a bit vain, but I love this. Gimme some suggestions, I'm try and improve it, then it's getting submitted to R2.

    or

    EDIT: ^^^Try 1.

    http://www.mp3unsigned.com/Showmp3.a...11919&aid=5942 <--Try 2
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Direct link for it at MP3unsigned: http://www.mp3unsigned.com/bands2/5942a_rock.mp3

I think it sounds great. It's not very original though...

Also, I look forward to seeing this in R2.

It's sound way too midi'ish. Not sure how to fix that if you can fix it. Anyway, I did like the guitar solo replacing the piano solo. Pretty good.

I am just not feeling it... Doesn't sound all that great to me, no offense. Nice try though.

I agree it does sound way way too midi'ish as Tank put it above...

How so? What about it makes it MIDI-ish?

Well, the best way I can describe it is that as soon as it started, something in my head screamed "FRUITY LOOPS!!!"

the main thing about midi is that it sounds mechanical, has no swing, and the notes sound the same every time they hit because all midi is doing is hitting the trigger, that's what they mean.

This song can be good, but it does have that pre-fx-and-tweaking-raw-flp sound to it.

It's funny, because this is one of the few songs I actually used effects on. I'll do more with it, but thanks for the commentary. Any ideas for what effects and whatnot I should do with it?

I'm not sure if it's just me cause I hear something EXTREMELY off-key in the background, not very loud. Try using the Fruity 7-Band EQ or maybe a Fruity Reeverb to make sound a bit less-MIDIish, but those two both make the piece quite a bit louder.

K well, the beginning is like they said.. WAYYYYY to FL sounding. the faster part sounds nice, still pretty FL sounding but better. the beginning needs ALOT of work, and the rest could also use a bit. nice job though
