    New video card = <3 (New scores page 2)

    Well, I finally went out and got me a new video card. For free, too.
    It reduced the lag a LOT on StepMania, that and I started running Windows XP too.
    Old video card + Windows 98 = 45FPS on 512x384 256 gfx resolution
    New video card + Windows XP = 60fps on 640x480 2048 gfx resolution
    And here is a score I got for you all to have fun with.
    AAA on Dignity with 58 perfects.

      Sweet, I was playing on my friends laptop and it had the worse resolution and fps ever on some song I could only gett 200 marvs and 300 perfs 100 greats and so on.... good graphics cards are a must for stepmania.

          Congrats... so basically, you're saying a better grafix card gives you better MA and stuff? I'm gonna go buy like some 512 meg thing once I get a job... damn it Nima! give me some money! Oh wait... you're broke too... nm =\

              Nice job.

              I get the same scores as when I turn off Reforce (about 60 fps) as when I turn it on (about 100 fps). The 100fps definitely makes play more smooth, but I don't really notice a difference in scores.

                  gj, what video card were you using, and what is new one?

                  My old GeForce3 Card can draw around 200 fps usually, but decreased to like 30-40 fps
                  on badger oni oni. I play on 60 fps-fixed mode now, synced to the monitor.

                              Old one.. S3 Savage 3D 8MB (Yes very old.. my computer is, too)
                              New one.. nVidia RAGE TNT2 (I think it's RAGE TNT2.. or RAVE, not sure) Major 64 32mb

                                                  I have NVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X and I get minimum 80FPS and i've hit 130 some FPS one time.
