There is a button on the front page of the website that says 'Download FFR', you will want to click that.
Only in-browser play is dying, and it's out of our hands because 99% of web browsers decided to block it at the end of this year.
It will continue to be that way unless someone ports the entire game, its code and all of its assets over to a different programming language, which is very hard to do and takes a massive amount of time in comparison to the cutoff date.

You can still have AIR run in-browser, but it still needs permission to run flash inside that browser, which all browsers are discontinuing at the end of the year.
The only thing AIR does, is make it so you can run flash outside of a web browser. Standalone flash players (projectors) work in a similar way, just that they grab their content from a website URL, instead of having it already downloaded, like AIR.Last edited by gold stinger; 08-28-2020, 06:33 AM. Ohhhhh, but i remember Velo saying air wasnt flash based? Or was it something similar to that?

I'm more worried about legacy sites like Newgrounds then I am FFR, since if it really came down to it the files could just be played in Stepmania.

I'm hoping one day the developers would be able to produce a downloadable build that is performant for everybody in every case. Flash/AIR gives a wide range of game performance across computers for different development kits and compilers. When this goal's achieved, we could reduce the number of people worrying about not being able to play the game in the browser anymore, since some of them feel that the browser version is more smooth than the downloadable executable.Comment
