Monstercat Tournament

Info/Signups
Welcome to the Monstercat Tournament, an unofficial tournament for Divisions 1-5 (more on this later). This will be a cumulative tournament using raw scoring, and will consist of six rounds, each lasting for one week long. If that sounds interesting to you, feel free to post in the thread that you want to join! (Note: I will only be accepting accounts that are at least a month old in an effort to avoid sandbagging.) Signups will be open through the end of Round 1, which will begin on August 25th, 11:00pm server time.

Divisions
Now, as I mentioned before, this tournament is only going to be for D1-D5 (apologies to the higher divisions). This is for a few different reasons. First of all, this tournament will be mainly using files of songs that were released through Monstercat, or songs by artists who have released music through Monstercat in the past. Because of this, the number of available files for me to choose from was rather limited. To my knowledge, there are actually no Monstercat files in the game that are within the D6-D8 range, so it would be kind of impossible to run those divisions under the circumstances. In addition, with this being my first attempt at running a tournament, I want to focus on running only a few divisions this time around to get my feet under me. And finally, my current skill level in the game is only that of a high D2. It's pretty difficult for me to choose an appropriate line-up of higher difficulty songs, and I'd rather not upset a bunch of higher level players with my poor file selection. >.<

With that said, divisions will be determined by players' placement in the FFR leaderboards, and will be subject to change based on levelranks, replays, etc.

Ghosting
I will be accepting ghosting requests for this tournament, but only for one division per player. Ghosting alone will not make you eligible for participation prizes, though you are welcome to only ghost if you desire.

Submissions
As far as submissions are concerned, I'll only be accepting screenshots posted in the thread, preferably of the end screen after you've finished the song, with your username and the timestamp clearly visible. Any other kinds of screenshots may be accepted or denied based on my judgement. With that said, feel free to update your score as many times as you like within the given round!

Prizes
This tournament will start with a prize pool of 200,000 credits, provided by myself. However, if you wish to donate to the prize pool, go right ahead! I'll be sure to divvy up the credits between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division when the tournament is over, as well as hand out participation credits for those of you who submit positive, non-zero scores for all six rounds.

Late Scores
I will not be accepting late scores in this tournament. If you fail to submit a score within the time period of the round, you will get a 0 for that round, and will also no longer be eligible for participation credits.
