    Halloween Song Release 2017

    Hello again everyone and Happy Halloween! We've got an exciting release this time around with 2 regular songs and 3 skill tokens that increase in difficulty of unlocking. The requirements for the skill tokens are indicated with the song information.

      Am I seeing correctly that Skill Tokens now unlock retroactively with scores achieved prior to release? If so that's p cool

      edit: Apparently I only have Cruel Whole v2 so I guess not. That said, any reason that one is unlocked for me already? I definitely didn't go and unlock it.

              The only tokens that can be unlocked retroactively are the normal ones.
              Skill tokens are supposed to unlock only by completing a certain task.

              There was a mistake while the Cruel Whole v2 token was added that made everyone who participated in the Halloween 2016 event unlock it as well.
              That is fixed now, but everyone who unlocked Cruel Whole v2 by default still have it.

              So, if you go FC Cruel Whole v1 now and you already have the token, nothing will happen because you already have it.
              If you don't have Cruel Whole v2 and FC Cruel Whole v1, it will unlock properly.

                          did blaze heatnix get rejected? (I haven't been keeping up with the queue and am far too lazy to pull up the bse...takes like a year for it to load for me anyways)

                          cruel whole is definitely worse for the ffr engine but I'd love to see the scoreboard on that too lmao

                              a couple years ago i was working on a v2 for cruel whole, i think the v1 by zero is one of the worst charts in the game and my mindset was the same as when i made a v2 for the earth blew up. the song owns and needed a v2 after the fucking atrocity that was v1.

                              it was turning out to be super hard tho so i scrapped it. glad to see it finally got a v2, even if it's a shorter cut

                                      iirc it was cq'd but hi19 never submitted fixes which is a shame cause I really wanted to see it in game.

                                                  Tass rejected it. Then last year I was like, what if I clean up this nearly decade-old chart and try again? I honestly find it pretty fun even if it is 100% jacks and a dumb difficulty spike at the end.
                                                  So I submitted it and it turns out FFR has gotten a lot more friendly towards jacks in recent years.

                                                  Please, if you want to make something better, I encourage it. The song deserves it.
