I fucking love you guys
You guys have been a tremendous element to developing my own maturity and learning about how to socialize with people. Before I developed an interest in DDR, I was such a dweeb. I was shy and awkward. I was afraid to communicate with people because at that point, I didn't know how to. I would take everything literally, and would easily get offended by the slightest joke. You guys have helped me not only overcome these burdensome anxieties, but also helped me realize that there is no shame in truly being myself.
I'm a month away from turning 27, and I have about 15-17 people that I communicate with on the regular. I know that might not be such a big deal, but considering how strenuous life is after school, that tells me that people enjoy my company, and appreciate my presence.
I'm not afraid to be honest with people anymore. Previously, I would lie about my life because I thought people would find me boring, so I would over-exaggerate my experiences constantly. Now, I'm not afraid to tell people my stories, no matter how mundane they are.
Thank you so much, everyone. I know I haven't been active as much, but this community will forever be something that I cherish.
