My mothers' town house was burnt!
Late last night my mom came to my place and said there was a fire. The neighbors town house caught fire, most likely from the furnace, but still not 100% sure. My mom and brother didn't suffer any injuries, and not everything was destroyed. The upstairs bedrooms and everything up there is more than likely just gone from the looks of it. Down stairs has some smoke and water damage, but mostly salvageable.
My mom neighbor was forced to drop from her second story window to get out, and has a broken ankle and broken back. Thankfully, her young daughter was not home as she may have had similar injuries as her mother.
The Red Cross has helped in the way they do and supplied a few necessities that were needed. Insurance has put my family in a hotel for a few weeks at most, so hopefully they can find other living arrangements in that time. My church family has also been very helpful to my mother today providing food, gas cards, walmart cards, clothes, and things of that nature. Even a lady that over heard out conversation while at restaurant tonight paid it forward and put some money towards our tab. I've been seeing a lot of good in people lately and it pleases me greatly to know there are decent people that help you without saying a word.
Just wanted to let you guys know, and if there are any other prayer people, they are accepted gratefully that everything from here out goes well.
There seems to be a lot of unfortunate events as of late, so I hope that no one else has anything go wrong in their lives, and I say that for everybody here in the FFR community as well.

Sending good vibes to all of you. I'm happy your mom had a lot of support off the bat, and everyone was mostly safe (hope her neighbor will heal quickly, very scary but I'm sure she's happy to have gotten out alive).
