The year is 7 ABY. Only 3 years since the Rebellion has finally overthrown the Galactic Empire and brought peace to the galaxy. However, in unknown vectors of space, different groups of Imperials still linger; waiting for their chance to strike and take back what was their's, and bring back the glory of the Imperial regime.
These Imperial pockets have begun to band together and strike at New Republic cruisers, stopping the Republic from carrying their message of peace to outer-lying planets and causing the loss of more planets allied to the Republic cause. They grow ever more and more dedicated, creative, and confident with each passing strike...

Lately, there has been word that a few upstart Imps have infiltrated the New Republic's fighter pilot corp in order to pass on information, and infiltrate the first - and last- line of defense for the Rebels.

General Airen Cracken - commander of New Republic Intelligence, survivor and hero of the Battle of Endor - has decided that a new fighter squadron is to be formed. One that should strike fear into the hearts of the Imperials once, and for all.
