    About Copyrights on videos

    Hi,

I've a serious question about the copyright not in the game FFR (because I know you've got all the autorisations from the artists), but in FFR videos, streams, etc... I've recently made a highlight on twitch on "Marisa stole the precious thing", and 3 days later it got muted with this reason :
"Audio for portions of this video has been muted as it appears to contain copyrighted content owned and controlled by a third party"
    (video here) : http://www.twitch.tv/skeelie/c/4826102

So can I claim to twitch that because you have the right to use these musics in the game, I can also use them for videos of the game itself ? How can I do ?

      Hey Skeelie.

Unfortunately, Twitch has decided to analyze previously saved videos (VODs and past broadcasts) and mute them in an effort to prevent licensing infringement, because so many people are trying to steal music (end sarcasm).

Seriously though, if it catches audio and feels like it is violating licensing issues, your video will be muted in 30 minute chunks. This has already been affecting some rhythm gamers -- a person recently had a past broadcast including a mosaic [A] AAA on IIDX and it got muted in entirety. Twitch's content matching system is going to be a bit of a problem for a lot of people.

EDIT: also, I would like to address this:
So can I claim to twitch that because you have the right to use these musics in the game, I can also use them for videos of the game itself ? How can I do ?
While FFR has permission for this music, Twitch does not have explicit permission for this; in fact, Twitch likely would not be able to obtain certain permissions that FFR has because they are commercialized and do make a profit.

My recommendation to you is to set up whatever streaming software you are using for local saving. Don't rely on Twitch for archiving your older videos, because you'll end up regretting it later.
