    School Shut Down Due To "Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air" Ringtone.

    I could have just updated my post in the Official Video thread,
    but I'd like to get a discussion out this one.
    So for the sake of "Chit Chat" it earned itself it's own thread.



    Americans (and anyone really for that matter), what are your thoughts on
    this video? How did you react when you heard this? Does it bother you
    how morons are highlighted in news and media to the point where those outside
    of America may/have/will build negative generalized opinions on based on the actions of small groups or individuals?
    Or an easier question, just what are your thoughts on North American media in general?

      Nothing about this news was interesting or worth watching. Not really surprised stuff like this happens, but I still don't really care.

      Also, I never pay attention to the media.

                              I was kinda going for a 'hate on the media' thread.
                              But now I don't really care where this all ends up. I'm leaving the critical thinking to the critical thinkers from now on.

                                  When media are privatized their main target it to maximize their audience, not to give actual information. The fact media still gives relevant information is only incidental, but given the majority of people is guillible and moronic, this kind of news sells more than actual news. This, or making a big deal of anything else, blowing out of proportion stories they know they can milk for a while, cause people will likely follow them.

                                  This atrocious way of doing journalism has been exported into other countries, too. Shame on america, but first of all, shame on the small people who think they can easily profit out of population's stupidity, feeding it and making it worse.

                                              Thank you Mollo, this is why it's a thread. I got an opinion, some perspective on a world I'm incredibly out of touch with, and I learned something.
