Songs you think are so perfect that remixes almost always ruin them

For me, one prime example is definitely Orbital - Halcyon. Amazing song that gets pooped on every single time someone screws with it.

I wanna drop off the opposite thing.

As the worst piece of shit Morbid Angel could ever come up with. How to ruin Death Metal.

    And then THIS comes out.

Forgot where I put my old sig lol

Yeah, I want to drop the same thing as H&H.

      then

      Remix is awesome as hell!

      ----

      Along with topic:

......... what? Seriously the largest piece of lard, ever.
Now this is still slightly off the topic, as there are plenty of decent remixes for Mining Melancholy (Kannon's Klaim).

      Additionally:
All of the original Ragnarok Online tunes by SoundTeMP will always be superior to their remixes, thought there are some pretty sick remixes by Joshua Morse and Raydric.

      Topic:
Being a heavy OCRemix listener I'd have to say that I enjoy remixes, but there are plenty of them that cause cringing, gagging, and puking. I don't listen to enough mainstream music to be aware of the remixes that occur out there, so that cuts out a lot of the crap.

Holy hell Rubix, making me verify that there are no good remixes for some of these songs has led me to find some incredibly SICK remixes... Thanks bro.

I hated the remix even more than the song though, the first KILL A COOPPPP... I just felt trolled beyond any humanly comprehensible level by Disco Dave Vincent...

The song "Listen to Your Heart", great song but that dance remix is just... ugh.
I'm posting from my Zune so no links, but I'm sure pretty much everyone has heard it.

I guess I could make this topic dual-pronged:

Songs for which most remixes are usually huge improvements
Songs for which most remixes are just godawful because the original owns

as a general rule i've seen MAYBE ONE good remix of a Portishead track.

              this remix uh

By and large I find all of the remix albums of NIN's work to be disgusting, and UKF butchers far too many songs. Actually I pretty much hate remixes in general. Don't really have the specificity required by this thread, bugging out now.
