    Leap Year Day SponCon~ FREEDOM DiVE giveaway!!!



    Leap days fall every 1460 days or so, but are rarely celebrated...

    So I figured we would change that for FFRs 3rd leap year day with a bit of a FREEDOM DiVE giveaway!!!
    For those that are unaware, FREEDOM DiVE by Xi, (stepped by hi19hi19) is a token that was given away in december as a part of the cross-event with Thirdstyle
    The token will be given to the top 5 in a highest unique score contest!.
    Regularly, a AAA is the best score possible on any given song. But if more than one person submits a AAA, the score is no longer unique.

    The song you will be playing is Space Entropy (cry4eternity) - Misc / Very Easy / 1:37

    Your job is to submit a score as high as possible but with it remaining unique to everybody elses.
    This will be based on raw scoring so ignore the combo score amount in your results when deciding what scores to submit.

    Each member will be allowed 2 submissions
    The submissions must be a legitimate screenshot
    Both submissions must be in the same PM

    Mac users: Command+Shift+3
    This takes a screenshot of the entire screen, and saves the image to your desktop.
    From there, you can edit the image and upload it to a site like imgur.

    Windows users: Alt+PrntScr
    This copies an image of your current window to your clipboard. Open Paint and paste the image from the clipboard using Ctrl+v.
    From there, you can edit the image and upload it to a site like imgur.



    Submissions are CLOSED!!!



    Unfortunately I couldn't give away tokens to everyone, but rest assured that there will be another FREEDOM DiVE sponcon in the near future~

    All the scores are posted below with the usernames removed, excluding of course the winning and other unique entries

                  The process of who ever came up with this:

                  "AAA while purposely ****ing up in an attempted to be unique and we pick the best "unique score" which is technically impossible because the best score that can be unique and isn't a AAA is in fact a booflag."

                  "Let's hope the community doesn't realize that."

                      This was actually based off 2 similar contests back in 2009 that can be located here & here.
                      The idea of having more than one entry allows players to try and tactfully submit different scores to elevate their chances of having a completely unique score to fall back on. Almost like a raffle, or a lottery. This means that elite players and beginners alike can compete for a similar goal without disadvantaging each other

                      I am just hoping that we get a good turn-out, and see 5 lucky players sporting their shiny new token in a little over 36hrs!! Already getting a decent amount of entries, so keep them coming guys~

                          Not trying to be elitist, by why are you trying to include less skilled players in this? I am all for contests that include everyone, but this is a song that beginners would have no fun with whatsoever. And yes, I will admit I would be kinda annoyed if the token was sitting in someone's profile who couldn't even read the notes while I can't play it (it looks so fun!!!! )

                                  Good point balla. But if it was made too exclusive, the typical upper tier handful of players would be the only ones that would benefit from this. The idea here is to get the whole community involved, and to offer a reward of sorts to those that take the time and effort to enter

                                          At least the requirement for getting FREEDOM DiVE is relatively difficult, I'm still kinda pissed that I wasted 13 hours of my life on it when I could have gotten 0-2-0-17 or something on Space Entropy for it.

                                              I can see why people wanting the song would be annoyed, but I think it's being offered to everyone as a way to make all of the lower level players feel like they can still earn cool things, and on the assumption that anyone wanting to enter this probably plays enough that they'll eventually be able to play
                                              ITG guru, FFR noob, wants to hug every cat.

                                                      I like your thinking Anaru, but no mods in a gameplay will alter the raw score in any way.
                                                      (unless you are as bad as me, in which case they will fill your scores with goods )
