I've been suicidal in the past, romanticizing the idea of my death. but when I finally came face to face with death last year by accidentally doing the same thing rapta did, it was a huge slap in the face. the prospect of death is terrifying, seeing your life flash before your eyes is sobering. fighting to stay awake because you risk never waking up again.

I honestly hope that this is a huge wake up call for rapta, that suicide is a very serious thing and that there's too much left in life to call it quits now

you really can't rationalize suicide but I'd imagine that it was due to a number of things

This ^ right here! For the last few years, always been hearing quotes like 'FFR is dying' and fair enough, it might seem that way with the numbers. But, the strength of this community has just been accentuated by the way we've all pulled through to help Rapta, so as far as I'm concerned it's nowhere near dying.

Can I just take a moment to point out how amazing it is that the internet can allow this sort of thing to happen? That dozens of people who have literally never met each other and whose only shared interest is a children's arrow game, can come together and show their love and concern for someone halfway across the world? We're living in the future, man.

we all talk shit to each other about tapping arrows but most of us have made that leap and understand that the other person that plays stepmania differently is an actual person
