Besides if he doesn't have the right writing techniques or abilities, maybe just suggest to him what he has done wrong, then he can go and fix it instead of bluntly insulting him.

Perhaps take some lessons on how to write correctly, then learn how to spell and how to use proper sentence structure.
Then learn how to turn a decent thought process into logical and legible writing.
Then start to create a story focusing around your main point (which in this case would be the bible style of writing).
