Re: NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month

I haven't done this for a few years now. Work will get in the way, as my shift times often vary, but I would love to give this a go again. It would be a good excuse to start writing again, as I haven't written anything since burning out finishing my MA a couple of years ago. I have two unfinished short stories that I have brainstormed expanding in the past but am worried I don't have enough substance in them and it would simply look like ego padding.
      Time to start indexing again.

But yeah you cheated. Quite honestly I'm a little agitated to start my first draft if only because I keep going over events in the book in my head. I know it's good in the long run but GAH

Re: NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month

I always wanted to try this, but real life kept getting in the way. I'm gonna give it a shot, but I don't know if I'll make it. I'm only really into fantasy novels and those are tough to wright due to all the worldbuilding. Any tips?

Well I was wrong, the coffee shop is devoid of artists and is instead full of its standard business people doing business and a group of militia making military plans in what looked like an assignment.

Not doing naniwrimo, just working my short story.

Yeah, but if I didn't have the time for this, I'd be wasted with ya. :V

The book's a fantasy novel. Main character gets thrown into another world from ours and tries to work it out, only for shit to happen. Gonna take quite a bit until I get it done done, but at the end of the month I'll post something up.

Ahh why am I just seeing this thread now! I've been onboard but my story kind of fell apart at 40k and... lmfao I erased and rewrote like half of it and... now things don't match up so I quit. ;_; sip in pieces.
