    DEATH NOTE / Desu Nōto

    -Hard to believe...this is my very first post...

    -Nothing special...just wanted to post my thoughts...

    A few nights ago, for the first time, I saw it...
    DEATH NOTE.


    The moment I started watching, I couldn't stop.
    I don't know why...

    It wasn't the theme song,
    Nor the end theme during the credits,
    So what was it?
    This shouldn't sound too peculiar or strange,
    after all, maybe I just loved watching it...

    But the thing is...
    I am actually a Christian...
    I don't enjoy the sight of blood or gore...
    And yet, I enjoyed watching the coolness of the anime.
    I had heard of DEATH NOTE...
    And I knew of its existence in Japan...
    But I couldn't stay away...

    Maybe YOU...whoever you may be...
    Have the answer to my dillemma?
    I only pose one...simple...question...

    WHY DO I LOVE IT SO MUCH?
    TELL ME...AM I ADDICTED?
    SHOULD I WATCH IT AGAIN?
    AND IF I DO, WILL I DIE?

    (Okay, maybe I've posed 4 questions...)

    I sound like such a wuss, don't I?
    Posting a thread the day after I saw an anime show...
    I know I'm pathetic. But I need to know if I'm okay...
    Does that sound strange to you? I'd believe so.

    Its okay if you don't have the answer...
    Just know that you've helped me already...

                                      The reason you love Death Note so much is probably because even though it's an anime, it's based off pushing a person's mind to the limit in a timely or immidiate encounter with a problem. That type of thing is very interesting. Sure some people may like it just for the sadistic pleasure of killing alone, but most dont. Some may even like it just for the intro or ending music (my favorites are 3 of the 4, The World, Zetsubo Billy, What's up People?).

                                      Since I enjoy all the things mentioned, It's like a perfect package for me. Intense mind games, tons of deaths, and awesome japanese music. I guess being a christian you could justify your love for Death Note as being "Kira only kills criminals that deserved judgement that god wasnt giving".
