dance is has high speed electronic beats that you can, well, dance to, trance has melotic slow string like sounds to it, making it sleepier and more calming.

Also listen to a lot of vocal trance tracks.

How about you stop being a genre elitist and just listen to music that you like and not give a crap about what people think it is.

At the end of the day, you like different songs from these so called "genre's"

Fact of the matter is, these days there are far too many genres and sub-genres...
It gets complicated.


If you want to divide your music into genres, do it with genre's you understand... Dance/Trance... whatever, if you care too much to think oh wait this song isn't dance it's more trance because...
You're getting too deep into things, just love the music...

Sifon = Best trance. Along with Seven....Just because of the 7/8 time

And also DJ Citrik Is great. A few hour 1/2 long mixes, Endorphin Express is the best IMO.
His songs in the player are good too.

really needs to learn more about electronic music before he makes a site devoted to it which is pretty much posted everywhere. Or at least he needs to stop making up names for ****. Plus, he's Canadian, which means he shouldn't be talking about electronic music in the first place. It goes like this:

1) Most of Europe
2) Japan
3) USA

....

Well I think Ishkur categorizes most genres nicely, and I like the fact that he tried to subdivide the genres into more specific ones. There's only a few subgenres that he might've made up. Why don't you try making his site better?

Also, the US wouldn't be on the top 3 list for electronic music. It's almost all about Europe (especially those Dutch trance artists) and Japan.
