Yeah Sick Puppies aren't metal at all. They aren't even screamo. I would say they fall under the emo category.
And don't compare them to Pillar. They are in two totally different sub-genres of rock. Pillar is Christian rock.nahComment

Nah Pillar still has a much more 'raw' sound than The Sick Puppies. The singers also have two different styles of singing.

I kno, but I figured it was the best reference seeing as how that is how my friend explained Sick Puppies to me.

attn: everyone listing melodeath metal aka if you listen to In Flames, mors principium est, arch enemy, or even Children of Bodom. learn your damn roots kids. Dark Tranquillity it's called gothenburg metal cuz these guys pioneered it.

Bloodbath - Resurrection Through Carnage (more thrash metal supergroup bonus omg)

I have 10... If they would stop releasing japan/australia only tracks I would be able to say that I paid for every piece of music thats come out during their career. I'm missing 4 tracks over 20 years and they're all from Fiction dammit
