Equilibrium isn't anything special. Also, Equilibrium is quite like the Matrix. One key similarity is the use of camera angles in fights and the score to the fights. Whether that could be said about other action films is irrelevant. The Matrix does hold similarities to Equilibrium.

Nope it is not irrelevant, the Use of Music and Camera Angles were done in other movies before hand not in the matrix, movies made before matrix have done the same thing over and over and over.

The Use of music is different, so is using techno in action movies justify Copying Matrix?

Equilibrium is something special, the moves are wildly inventive and different more creative in a action coreograph perspective then any action coreographed scene in the matrix.

also, the fight sences were not like the matrix. the matrix slows time down during a fight while this keeps the fight going at "real time", which makes it look like the charecters are going really fast.

I loved the movie and anytime when me and my friends are out looking for a movie with alot of action and not much to think about, I suggest it. Along with Ong Bak and Run Lola Run it is one of the few good movies not alot of people have seen.
