I pretty sure that Peter mutates more a little while after he found his new powers. Like he slowly becomes more and more like a spider. Thats pretty horrific though. I'd like to see alittle of this all the same. I know its more down in the story but I think it'll be cool to show him going through alittle more change.

That's not connected to the symbiote at all.

And they probably won't do a story line in a movie which involves the hero becoming a hideous monster.

ps just did some looking up and apparently ultimate spider-man universe venom does not spawn from an alien symbiote who was once bonded to peter.

I never said it was did I? Still, I thought he started feeling the mutation growing around the time venom came though. Not saying it was because of the symbiote.

I was thinking just alittle mutation. Not full blown horrific monster.

Even just doing the "hey look lol i have 6 arms now but besides that i'm totally normal" story arc would probably alienate the viewers. People don't want to see a movie about a super hero who can't even live a "normal life." They would find it difficult to connect to characters like that.

The best thing I'd think they could manage would be a nightmare sequence in which Peter becomes Man-spider.

By the way, I'm not sure of how the comic handled it, but I'm about 95% sure that man-spider and the 6 armed spider-man both came about during the time when Morbius became a vampire and Blade was on the show.

You know more than me with spiderman so i wont like argue or anything. Its just that part of the series I can faintly remember and I loved it. What your saying is probaly right though. They probaly wouldn't be able to show that without it looking horrific.

The first episode of the cartoon was just a random adventure (I believe it was with the Lizard). There was no origin episode. The best we got was the opening sequence.

You're probably thinking of an episode around the time when he mutates and gets more arms. He has a dream that he's a spider in the his aunt's kitchen sink and she tries to kill him. In the dream, he has the body and everything of a spider but his human head.

I tried looking at it paused and I really couldn't tell. He does look different from Green Goblin to me. It could be Hobgoblin, especially since in Ultimate Spider-man, Harry becomes Hobgoblin, not Green Goblin.

Aquaman is better..

Um... No. He has essentially the same powers as Sandman, except that Sandman can solidify and super condense himself so he can hit harder. Aquaman is just a wet little pussy.

Update: The chase scene set I was on takes place on a speeding armored car as the Sandman and Spiderman duke it out on top. And I the PA I talked to confirmed Venom as a villian in the movie.
