We all know it's not possible for the filmmakers to use CGI to digitally enhance Venom when he's in Venom form. They don't even know what CGI is yet.

That would suck ass if Eddie was scrawny until he turned into Venom. It'd be worse than that time on Power Rangers when they had a little kid that MAGICALLY GREW TO ADULT SIZE WHEN HE MORPHED.

Afrobean, your movie plot is based on PURE speculation, as is anyones at this point.

Never said it wasn't. Just saying what I thought should be done given the confirmed knowlege I have at hand.

I believe this movie will be Sandman/Venom centric, and it will have Gwen Stacey. Why? Because Dunst has said she wants out of the movies and they're probably going to have a replacement.

And regarding him wearing a black suit: I do not believe he ever wears a non-symbiote version of the black costume in the cartoon, but I do know that he has a black version of his costume made at some point in the comic. I think BlackCat is involved somehow in the creation of the non-symbiote black costume.

And yes, the spider on his chest does seem to resemble the venom/black spidey spider symbol, although I don't think it looks like the right size.

Well I think it looked smaller too. However I think thats due to the fact the Toby's a small guy. And they need the symbol to fit him like. Plus he looks really ill in the picture. Didn't the venom suit make him ill too? Im starting to get more and more confident in saying the venom suit will be in there. I think maybe, that venom isnt actully in the film and hes in the next one. Maybe you see Peter get more and more ill because of the suit and at the end he finds it out and casts it away, Only to be picked up by sombody else, then the credits. Just a guess like.

Edit: Saying that though if Venom wasn't in Spiderman 3 then Eddie Brock wouldn't have that big a part in the film. Or not much screen time anyway.

After reading all this and taking all points of view into consideration, it seems to me that the most probable explanation of Kirsten's "slip" is that Venom will be in the movie if not in the very last scene, then maybe a minor role towards the end of the film.

I don't see why they wouldn't make the whole symbiote/venom thing into an entire movie. Venom is probably the coolest villain in spiderman and to not give him credit where credit is due, would suck ass.

Also, isn't Carnage somehow related to the symbiote as well? If so, wouldn't he have to make an appearance as well? I'm kinda confused as to where Carnage comes from, maybe someone could clear this up.

"Carnage was once a serial killer known as Cletus Kasady, and became Carnage after merging with the offspring of the alien symbiote called Venom during a prison breakout. The symbiote amplified his psychotic nature making him even less mentally stable than he had been previously, and therefore even more dangerous. An interesting note is that, unlike Venom, Carnage is a singular entity, referring to himself as "I" instead of "We", because the symbiote has actually merged into Kasady's bloodstream. Carnage is also the "father" of Toxin. A note on his childhood, Cletus believes that he killed his father, who apparently killed the boy's mother when she tried to attack him, though, being totally insane, he is a bit unclear on the exact details.It is also unclear on Cletus' relationship with his mother, as he seems to have feelings for her, causing him to dig up her grave at the end of his massacre through New York. He also revealed that he killed his grandmother when he was younger, pushing her down a flight of stairs. The alien symbiote adapts to the donors personality, Carnage was stronger than Venom and Spider-Man put together. The Symbiote adapted to his insane mind and lust for destruction"

Carnage is more down the story line.

They would never do Carnage in a million years. The movie industry knows that the average Joe would just think of him as another Venom and get bored. Plus, to keep Carnage in character they'd have to have him kill a dozen people every day. Oh wait, it's what, PG 13? Something like that. They're not going to make it rated R just so they can have Carnage.

Also, the Carnage symbiote is a spawn of Venom.

They did Joker in a movie, didn't they? They'd just have to get the point across that he's a homocidal maniac without him actually killing a lot of people.

And so long as they focus on Carnage's ability to turn parts of his body into stabbing shapes instead of his similarities to Venom, I do not believe that people would have a hard time seperating Venom from Carnage in their minds.

And so long as they focus on Carnage's ability to turn parts of his body into stabbing shapes instead of his similarities to Venom, I do not believe that people would have a hard time seperating Venom from Carnage in their minds.

Joker killed a hell of a lot of people. All the people at the restauraunt, his old boss, the guy he killed with the buzzer, the feather, all the people he gassed at the parade.

Carnage is more of a "rip people to pieces" type deal, though.

I wasn't a big fan of the first 2 movies but I would have thought the villian could possibly the Hobgoblin for the 3rd one cause at the end of the first one Harry finds his dad mask/pumpkin grenades/glider. Thus Harry would continue in his fathers steps as the Hobgoblin. Guess not though.

I think the Spiderman movies > X-Men movies. There's less emphasis on cramming as many cameos as possible, and it's more believable. I would like to see the Rhino, which is basically Juggernaut painted gray.

All I can say (from what I saw) is that there's a chase scene with a blue cadillac looking car, and a woman in all black with black hair and heels. She looks kind of important and was really pretty.

And I also think they were filming one of those Jeopardy video clips up the street, too.

It wasn't so much of a super-hero costume as it was just a coat on and sun-glasses. Like, a civilian costume, but she was getting attention from make-up and costume, so she was relevent to the scene.

That is like the coolest thing I have ever heard in my life. Not the scene, but the fact that you can say, "they were filming outside my apartment." I live a reaonably few miles way from one of Snoop Dog's (sp) mansions, but that really blows me away.

I pretty sure that Peter mutates more a little while after he found his new powers. Like he slowly becomes more and more like a spider. Thats pretty horrific though. I'd like to see alittle of this all the same. I know its more down in the story but I think it'll be cool to show him going through alittle more change.
