Anyways yeah pattern blocks are le gone as of v10. As of 9.9 you can still turn them on in the general settings under the checkbox option "Legacy Pattern Clips" or something like that. But seriously pattern blocks are inferior, it would be best to learn to use clips. Saves space & time.

HOW do you do the automation clip with the LFO?
I make decent music, I just have never used that before...

Usually with an effect channel on the mixer, you can right click on the effect and make an automation clip.

I would generally use it as a perimeter in the piano roll. It works the same way as everything else though. Right click "set automation clip" do work.

Depends what you mean.

You can automate the LFO speed in all native plugins by right clicking the knob and choosing 'create automation clip.' Same goes for any native parameter in fact.

If you want to alter LFO parameters or any parameters in a 3rd party plugin you have to find it by selecting "browse parameters" option in the submenu you can find by clicking the little downward arrow in the top of all plug-in windows. It will then show you whatever knob you are twisting within a list of parameters in your browser (thats F8 to open and close the browser). So you tweak the knob you want to select it in the browser, then right click the highlighted browser option and 'create automation clip'

FL Studio rules for automations mate. Never a bad idea to invest in some good custom automations like the OP screenshotted.

But alllssooo. You can hit the record button, then everything, then just move the knob you want to change then it will show up in your parameters. Its faster.

Its really not if you do it my way. Believe me, you save a lot of time and CPU using parameters instead of loading a whole'nother vst just to change the lfo speed

Its not even REMOTELY, regardless of the way. The longest method required about 4 clicks. Don't be a lazy producer. I spend probably 7-8 times more time on mixing then composing a piece.
