    My saxophone hierarchy: Tenor (best, most versatile), Bari, alto, bass (not really used except in older wind ensemble music), lastly, Soprano sax. Soprano sax reminds me of a messed up oboe or Kenny G; both are unfortunate. Get the bari. It's really up to what you want to play though.
